Vacancy: PT Weekend Duty Manager
Accountable to: Assistant Chief Executive
Location: Cheltenham YMCA
Salary scale: £7.46/hr

Job Summary
On a shift basis, the postholder will provide duty management at our town centre YMCA base, whilst respecting the Christian ethos of the YMCA and upholding its values.
Occasional situations may arise that require the post holder to perform other duties or tasks as may be reasonably requested by the Assistant Chief Executive.
Key areas of responsibility
The post holder shall
- work towards resolving any operational problems or queries from members, residents, or visitors, that arise during their duty shift.
- manage any activities taking place at the YMCA including, day conferences, regular programmes, and other bookings that occur at weekends.
- manage and support other weekend staff, including volunteers
- supervise health and safety within the building during your duty shift
- provide leadership and take charge in the event of an emergency
- undertake administrative duties associated with duty management
- participate in staff training as required
Dimensions of the role
The post holder will be required to develop good relationships with residents, members, volunteers, and other staff.
