Introduction to Membership

Cheltenham YMCA is a membership organisation and therefore everyone participating regularly in YMCA activities is required to be a member.

Membership Types and Prices

• Junior - £9.00 per yearFor those aged up to and including 10 years.
• Youth - £10.00 per yearFor those aged between 11 - 17 years.
• Adult - £35.00 per yearFor those aged 18 years and over.
• Family - £70.00 per family per yearFor a couple and their children aged under 18 years.
• Concessionary - £25.00 per yearFor those who are either Residents, Senior Citizens (60+ only), NUS card holders, Unemployed or on Income Support. You will need to produce either valid benefit books or NUS cards (Please note that Working Family Tax Credit does not entitle you to a Concessionary membership)
• Corporate - £25.00 per person per year If a group from your company, church or association would like to join the YMCA together then a corporate rate may be available to you.
• New Platinum Membership - £28.00 monthly by direct debit after 1st paymentNew memberships all include membership fee and activity fees to use fitness suite, classes, and court hire. Unlimited use at all times. Either one off annual payment of £300 or monthly direct debit payments of £28 (first month payment is £50).
• New Gold Membership - £23.00 monthly by direct debit after 1st paymentIncludes membership fee and activity fees to use fitness suite, classes, and court hire. Unlimited use during off peak times. Either one off annual payment of £250 or monthly direct debit payments of £23 (first month payment is £50).
• New Silver Membership - £19.00 monthly by direct debit after 1st paymentConcessionary membership for over 60's, NUS, International students, unemployed. Includes membership fee and activity fees to use fitness suite, classes, and court hire. Either one off annual payment of £200 or monthly direct debit payments of £19 (first month payment is £40).
• New Joint Membership - £45.00 monthly by direct debit after 1st payment2 Adults. Includes membership fee and activity fees to use fitness suite, classes, and court hire. Either one off annual payment of £500 or monthly direct debit payments of £45 (first month payment is £70).
• Inclusive Family Membership - £50.00 monthly by direct debit after 1st payment2 Adults and 2 children from the same household. Includes membership fee and activity fees to use fitness suite, classes, and court hire. Either one off annual payment of £580 or monthly direct debit payments of £50 (first month payment is £70).
• Inclusive Corporate Membership - £19.00 monthly by direct debit after 1st paymentAt least 5 employees from the same company. Includes membership fee and activity fees to use fitness suite, classes, and court hire. Either one off annual payment of £200 or monthly direct debit payments of £19 (first month payment is £40).

Fitness Suite Membership

• Fitness Suite Membership - £15.00 per yearIf you want to make regular use of the fitness suite you will need to have Fitness Suite Membership. This comes as an add-on to the Cheltenham YMCA membership.

  Anyone taking out a fitness suite membership must also attend a free induction session which shows you how to use the equipment safely.

  There is a minimum age requirement of 16 years old for fitness suite membership and use.
